Prologue: A New Life

It was different, moving from the city to the suburbs. As they pulled up to the modern mansion, Emmalynn couldn’t help but smile. It was enormous, and it would fit all of them with room to spare. As her older sister began to walk inside, Emmalynn stopped her. “Hey,”

“Hay is for horses.” She replied in a monotone voice. Just by the look on Charlottes’ face, she could tell she wasn’t happy. “What do you want, brat?” Even at the young age of twelve, she knew why her sister was so unhappy. She had a life in Bridgeport. Friends, who were considered family, and a boyfriend.

Guess we won’t see Dean around anymore… She thought to herself as she shook her head lightly. “Nothing.” She sighed, finally speaking as they entered the foyer.

“They did a wonderful job with the sun room.” Emma heard her mom’s voice chime in. “Emma, sweetheart you and Maura have to share a room.”

“But mom-”

“No buts, young lady. I made sure it was nice. I went to extra lengths to make sure your sister had her own room.”

Sighing in defeat, Emma nodded. “Okay…” Her mother just smiled before leaning over and kissing her on the forehead. “What about Aunt Colleen?” She asked before she headed up the stairs.

“She has business still in Bridgeport.” Ainslie spoke with a whispered tone. It was as if no one knew just how grown up Emma was. They acted like Cian’s death was a secret. Cian Lawrence was the father of her cousin Maura, and the late husband to her Aunt Colleen. Sadly, he died four months ago. It was a tragedy that shouldn't of happened. He was a news reporter, and arriving at the City Hall, getting ready to do a live feed about protesters, some unknown man pulled a gun and shot him dead.

As she went upstairs, she quickly found her room. Seeing as her mother persisted on the colors purple and pink. Of course, she found that her sisters’ room was right next door, it was a bright orange, with red accents. Something Charlotte deemed necessary to have.

“Get out of my room.” Emma heard, looking over, she saw her sister exiting the bathroom.  “Out, now.” Charlotte pointed at the door.

“But-”

“I DON’T CARE!” Charlotte screamed before shoving her out herself and slamming the door. It was at this exact moment, that Emma found herself wishing Maura was her sister.

Suddenly, a wave of tiredness swept over her. Without another word, she climbed up to the top bunk and laid down. Hands up, she let a soft smile cross her face, knowing that before too long, Maura would be at her side again.

Introduction; Kee style

Hello, my name is Tasha. But, you guys can call me Kee. Seems everyone I know calls me by that name =) Anyway, onto why this blog is here and what it's about. Firstly, it's a story. Comic style, kinda like Tom & Annabelle. For those who haven't guessed; yes, this is a sims 3 story.

I don't want to give too much away, but lets just say I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it. The first 'chapter' should be up in a few days. (Seeing as I have yet to make said sims... Oh, no worries. I have everything planed out *nods*)

But, I figured beforehand you should kinda get to know the writer. As I pointed out in the beginning sentences. Yes, my name is Tasha. Yes, you may call me Kee, or even Keely. What's that? How old am I? Never ask a girl her age, but for you... I'll divulge. On June 15th, I will be twenty-eight years of age. Yes, yes I know; I'm old.

Favorite color? Why, I'm a pink girl. But, it's not what you think. When I was a teen, I was more into darker colors. It wasn't until I was twenty-something that I found myself falling for the lighter shades of pink.

Favorite music? Hm, I'mm eclectic, I suppose. I like all kinds. From, R&B, to Hip-Hop, to country. Is the title named after a country song? Hehe, smart you are! Yes, yes it is. More specifically; Didn't I - James Wesley.

Favorite food? Oh jeez. Pizza, hands down no question. Desert wise? Hey, since it's so close to thanksgiving; Pumpkin pie. Yeah, with lots of whipped cream!

*buzzer goes off*

What was that? Well, to put it simply; my cue to leave. I hope you enjoy this and many future writings.

Until then,
-Kee

Psst, hey. Yeah, you. If you have any questions. Feel free to post them in the comments. I'll try my best to get back at ya!
